Lewis longhorns was built from a genuine love for the Texas Longhorn breed and a deep respect for its legacy. We are proud members of the TLBAA and are committed to preserving and strengthening the qualities that make this breed truly exceptional. 

Owner Ericka has always been drawn to the beauty, strength, and character of Texas longhorns. Alongside her grandfather and partner, Jehu, that passion evolved into a breeding program rooted in intention, ethics, and long term vision.

 From the beginning our focus has been to build a small, carefully managed herd of quality Texas Longhorn cattle. By maintaining a select number of animals, we are able to focus on strong maternal lines , horn potential, and calm dispositions that carry forward into the next generation.

Our program is built around proven genetics and foundation females that consistently produce eye catching cattle with excellent structure and temperament.

Our cattle are raised on open pastures with room to grow, graze, and develop naturally. We believe that how cattle are raised is just as important as how they are bred. 

Daily care, regular handling, and a calm environment allow our cattle to develop the disposition we value so highly. This approach results in longhorns that are sound, manageable, and consistent cattle we are proud to stand behind
